13 Ways of Looking at a Typeface
Hand-bound booklet crafted by myself. This was a project in my publication design class based from an article written by Michael Bierut about type design. The booklet is bound together traditionally with glue and using a bone folding tool, as well as blocks to keep it together while the glue dries, and trimmed with an industrial cutter.
This booklet is 30 pages long and showcases the two fonts Monarcha and Bungee. These two fonts are totally different, but I found a way for them to work together perfectly. The color palette takes inspiration from a CMYK theme where I only use the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (black). I altered the colors slightly.
